Bloem: Enkel; middelgrote hangende bloem. Bloembuis: vrij dun; honingklier verdikt op ongeveer 8 mm. vanuit de basis; kleur: wasachtig wit met groene zweem; het groene vruchtbeginsel is bij de overgang naar de bloembuis lichtgroen tot wit, wat een mooi effect geeft; afm. 25 x 5 mm. Kelkbladen: lang en smal; horizontaal uitstaand; toppen geheel teruggeslagen; afm. 50x12 mm; de toppen blijven bij het opengaan van de knoppen aan elkaar vastzitten; buitenkant: wasachtig wit met rode vlekken; binnenkant: wit met roze blos; de toppen zijn helder groen. Kroonbladen: De kroon is ¼ uitstaand; afm. 30 x 25 mm; de iets langere dan brede kroonbladen zijn langs de zijranden enigszins naar binnen opgerold en hebben een grof gekartelde bovenrand; kleur: helder robijnrood (61C), de basis is wit. Helmdraad: lichtroze; enkele meeldraden staan buiten de kroonbladen. Helmknop: rood. Stuifmeel: crème. Stijl: wit. Stempel: geel; gelobd. Bloei: mild. Bloeitijd: normaal, cyclisch. Knop: sterk langwerpig; punt zijwaarts; de groenachtige witte knop is mooi gevormd. Blad: vrij klein tot middelgroot; afm. 60 x 35 mm; eivormig blad; puntige top; afgeronde voet; fijn getande rand; kleur: bovenkant middengroen (137B), onderkant groen (147B); lichtrode bladstelen; bladranden naar binnen opgebogen. Groeiwijze: hanger. Kweekwijze: hanger voor koele lichte plaats buiten de zon. Bijzonderheden: Rijkbloeiende en bladrijke fuchsia die haar naam eer aandoet. Kan slecht tegen warmte. Pas geopende knoppen hebben een lampionmodel (als van Fiona).

Quarter flared 27mm (1 1/16") long x 20mm (3/4") wide COROLLA opens fuchsia purple (67B) maturing slightly redder (66B) with smooth petal edges. 50.5mm (2") long x 14mm (1/2") wide SEPALS are horizontally held at opening, maturing to fully up and are cream (19D) on the upper surface, orient pink (36D) on the lower surface with recurved tips. Proportionately long thin 30mm (1 1/8") long x 5mm (1/8") wide TUBE is pale yellow (8D). STAMENS extend 3mm (1/8") below corolla with light magenta (66D) filaments and lilac purple (70A) anthers. PISTIL extends 30mm (1 1/8") below corolla with light pink (62D) style and pale yellow (8C) stigma. 80mm (3 1/8") long x 20mm (3/4") wide BUD. FOLIAGE is mid-green (134B) on the upper surface, slightly lighter (134C) on the lower surface with 70mm (2 3/4") long x 40mm (1 5/8") wide ovate shaped leaves, serrated edges, acute tips and rounded bases. PARENTAGE: 'Normandy Bell' x 'Mrs. W. Rundle'. Natural trailer. Will make a good basket. Prefers over- head filtered light in a cool climate. Best bloom color in filtered light. Certificate of Honor, Dutch Committee of Inspection, Aalsmeer. Tested 3 years in Schaijk, Netherlands and introduced in 1984. Distinguishing feature: cascading trailer.
